FUTURECOM is Latin America's largest digital transformation event, drawing over 25,000 attendees, 250 exhibitors, and participants from more than 40 countries. It serves as the region’s only B2B platform focused on the technology and telecommunications ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on Telecom, ICT, disruptive technologies, and hyperconnectivity. Brazil, the host country, leads Latin America’s ICT market with annual expenditures exceeding US$120 billion. In partnership with the Trade Commissioner Service in Brazil, the program includes a pre-mission webinar, personalized export consultations, a sector-specific market briefing, exhibition space at the Canada Ontario pavilion, a tailored B2B matchmaking program, and interpretation services if needed.

The Ontario Government is organizing the Ontario Life Sciences Mission to MEDICAL JAPAN TOKYO and BIOJAPAN YOKOHAMA 2025 to support companies in the life sciences sector. This mission offers opportunities to exhibit at two major trade shows—Medical Japan and Bio Japan—and includes options for curated B2B matchmaking, interpretation support, pre-mission webinars, export consultations, and marketing assistance. Companies may choose to participate in either or both events. Space is limited, and participation is open to a select number of Ontario life sciences companies.

The Canadian Government, through the Trade Commissioner Service, is organizing a Canada Trade Mission to Italy from October 12 to 17, 2025, led by the Honourable Maninder Sidhu, Minister of International Trade. Targeting Rome and Milan, the mission aims to support Canadian SMEs in sectors such as defence and security (including cybersecurity), aerospace, infrastructure, clean technologies, and energy. Participants will benefit from networking with Italian industry leaders, market briefings, site visits, and pre-arranged B2B meetings. Italy, the EU’s third-largest economy, is investing heavily in modernization and sustainability, offering Canadian companies strategic opportunities for long-term partnerships and growth in a well-funded, innovation-driven market.

The Ontario Government, in partnership with Global Affairs Canada, is organizing the Ontario Export Business Mission to CIES Mexico to support companies in the advanced manufacturing and automotive sectors, with a focus on electromobility, electronics, and semiconductors. The mission offers Ontario businesses direct access to international buyers, including major firms like Audi and Volkswagen, through a program that includes a pre-mission webinar, personalized export consultations, market briefings, exhibition space at the Ontario booth, B2B meetings, and industrial site visits.

The Canadian International Innovation Program (CIIP) is organizing a research and development partnering mission to Taiwan focused on medical technology. This initiative supports Canadian SMEs in exploring collaboration and market opportunities in areas such as AI in healthcare, robotics, diagnostic imaging, AgeTech, and precision health. The program includes participation in the Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan, tailored B2B meetings, and site visits to multinational enterprises.

Semiconductor Trade Missions and Webinars
In collaboration with industry leaders and stakeholders, the Trade Programs Branch of Ontario's Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade is set to launch semiconductor-focused webinars and trade missions to Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the United States. The goal is to strengthen Ontario’s semiconductor capabilities and integrate them into a cohesive global supply chain.

Location - Taipei, Taiwan
The Government of Ontario, in collaboration with the Canadian Trade Office in Taiwan, is organizing a technology export business mission for Ontario companies in the semiconductor sector to participate in the 2025 SEMICON Taiwan event. SEMICON Taiwan is heavily focused on key themes that drive the industry trends such as Smart Manufacturing, Materials Innovation, Quantum, Smart Mobility, Auto Chips, Semiconductor Cybersecurity etc. 2024 SEMICON Taiwan attracted over 1,100 exhibitors including 12 country pavilions and 85,000 visitors from 50+ countries, a significant 30% increase compared with last year. The mission program will include a pre-mission webinar, 1:1 market/export advice, market and sector briefing, individual exhibition counter in the Ontario Pavilion at SEMICON Taiwan, B2B meetings and networking events.

The Government of Ontario, in partnership with Global Affairs Canada, invites you to participate in the Ontario Advanced Manufacturing/Automotive Export Business Mission to CIES: Comunidad de La Industria de Electromovilidad, Electronica y Semiconductor Mexico 2025. (CIES: Electromobility, Electronics & Semiconductor Industry Community). With an additional B2B meetings program and site visits, the Mission seeks to identify and make a diagnosis of the current productive capacities of these technological sectors. Baja California's strategic initiatives in the electromobility and semiconductor industries present a wealth of opportunities for Ontario businesses. The Government of Ontario is organizing an ICT and Semiconductor Mission to SEMICON Korea. SEMICON Korea 2026 will showcase advancements in AI, quantum computing, advanced packaging, and sustainable semiconductor manufacturing. The 2025 edition featured over 500 companies and attracted 70,000 visitors. South Korea accounts for 61% of global memory semiconductor market and is investing $470 billion to strengthen its sector and expand into non-memory semiconductor markets.
