Markham-based ventureLAB hosted its 4th Annual HardTech Summit on November 6th and 7th, in Markham - thus bringing an eventful CHIPS Month Canada to a close.
The first day of the Summit brought together over 1,100 attendees at the Toronto Marriott Markham. The day concluded with enthusiastic networking sessions, where industry leaders, innovators, and investors connected over shared goals and discussed how to accelerate Canada’s HardTech innovation.
The second day of the the summit brought together some of the brightest minds in the startup ecosystem for an evening filled with exciting pitches, keynotes and networking opportunities. A major highlight of the evening was a special address by Mayor of Markham Frank Scarpitti, who took the main stage to speak about Markham’s growing influence in the global semiconductor industry - as Markham’s strategic positioning within this network positions the city as a key player in the future of technology and innovation.
