Bringing new products to the market takes innovation, ingenuity, and world-class manufacturing partners like VEXOS Electronic Manufacturing Services. Their 84,000-square-foot facility in Markham provides customers with services such as New Product Introduction, Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), System Level and Complete Box Build Integrations, Warehousing & Reverse Logistics Services, and Advanced Engineering & Design support.

Vexos was formed in 2014 with the merger of STACI Corporation and EPM Global Services, but the Markham facility traces its roots back to 1993. Their Markham facility is one of the four advanced manufacturing sites, with the others located in the USA, Vietnam, and China. Vexos is a global leader in Electronic Manufacturing services and Custom Material Solutions.

Cyril Fernandes, SVP of Global Business Development at Vexos, said their global footprint enables them to provide complete end-to-end supply chain solutions for its customer base – which is a diverse group of high-tech industrial companies that includes leaders in the Computing, Medical, Smart Grid, and SatCom space.

Fernandes said being in Markham has multiple advantages for Vexos, its partners, and its customers. They’re located within the GTA high-tech sector that includes Markham, Toronto, and Kitchener, Waterloo.

Being within Canada’s largest tech hub, Markham has access to a critical mass of engineering, manufacturing, and other technology businesses as well as a developing and skilled workforce.

This is augmented by the high quality of post-secondary educational institutions located within the GTA. “We find that there’s a lot of great talent in the market, especially engineers for our manufacturing unit. It’s good to be in Markham since it’s a major tech hub for Canada’s blue chip organizations and innovation companies,” Fernandes said.
